Warong Aji-Don Alley - Plaza Damas, Kuala Lumpur

It has been awhile to write about this eating place, only now managed to publish this. Warong Aji-Don Alley originally came from Uncle Don in Sri Hartamas long time ago. The concept of this restaurant basically is hawker centre that serves different kind of food or meal from morning to evening by several of small stall operators at this restaurant.

It is convenient eating place where you can easily get the parking spots at the basement because it is located at the Plaza Damas shopping complex. The restaurant just located at the Block E, at the back entrance of the Plaza Damas mall. The table and seating spots are simple, warong (coffee stall) style and you order your food at the stall that serves the food and pay when it delivered to your table. It will be crowded during lunch hour but you can share the long table with other patrons, great to be friendly!

rojak buah
Malaysian Rojak buah contains slices of fruit or salad such as cucumber, senkuang (yam-bean/turnip), young mango, guava, pineapple and etc. The slice of this salad then mixed and stirred with special little bit stinky and hot, prawn paste or petis. Then complete salad is sprinkled with chopped nuts and sesame. It is best appetizer with irresistible little hot and drooled taste!

mee rebus

Mee rebus Baidali serves the best mee rebus in town. There are specific days such Friday, you can also have mee rebus tulang (with bone of mutton). Mee rebus Baidali originally came from the famous Haji Wahid mee rebus in Johor Baharu.

For noodle lover, besides the mee rebus, mee bandung here is also delicious, the gravy is not bad at all, like mee bandung Muar in Johor.
mee bandung

You must try mee bandung, mee rebus Baidali, nasi ayam (chicken rice), rojak buah (fruit salad), tauhu bakar (grilled tofu), char keow teow, well there are plenty of tasty meals here, actually! Besides, there are malay rice dishes during lunch hour, hot wok dishes, satay, western cuisine and etc. Different stall operators here have their own special dishes and all of them are tasty and delicious. That is why I just come here if I cannot make up my mind for what I will eat for lunch or dinner or even an evening tea break. There are so variety of my favorites here!
